महाराष्ट्र के पुणे में भीमा कोरोगांव में 2018 में हुई हिंसा के सिलसिले में हुई जाँच और गिरफ़्तारियाँ एक नई रिपोर्ट के आने के बाद अंतरराष्ट्रीय मीडिया में सुर्खियों में है. अमेरिका के प्रतिष्ठित समाचार पत्र 'द वाशिंगटन पोस्ट' ने अमेरिका की एक साइबर फ़ोरेंसिक लैब की जाँच रिपोर्ट के आधार पर दावा किया है कि इस मामले में गिरफ़्तार किए गए कम-से-कम एक व्यक्ति के ख़िलाफ़ सबूत प्लांट किए गए थे.
पुणे में हुई हिंसा के मामले में कई वामपंथी कार्यकर्ताओं और बुद्धिजीवियों को गिरफ़्तार किया गया है. भीमा कोरेगांव में अंग्रेज़ों की महार रेजीमेंट और पेशवा की सेना के बीच हुई लड़ाई में महार रेजीमेंट की जीत हुई थी. दलित बहुल सेना की जीत की 200वीं वर्षगांठ के मौक़े पर हिंसा की घटना हुई थी….

Evidence planted in Bhima Koregaon accused Rona Wilson's computer: US firm
Activist Rona Wilson's computer was compromised for over 22
months before the Pune Police raided his home in New Delhi and arrested him as
co-accused in Bhima Koregaon violence, claimed the Massachusetts-based digital
forensics firm Arsenal Digital.
The firm in its report said that the 10 letters used first
by Pune Police and later the National Investigation Agency (NIA) as the base of
their evidence against the activists accused in the case were planted in
Wilson's by hackers via malicious software or Malware. Attaching the digital
forensic report of Arsenal, Rona Wilson's lawyer Sudeep Pasbola on Wednesday
filed a petition in the Bombay High Court seeking dismissal of the case against
his client in the 2018 Bhima Koregaon violence…
