Bríd Stenson - Immersive Van Gogh show opens in Paris – in pictures
Digital art museum L’Atelier des Lumières
brings Vincent van Gogh’s paintings to life, projecting them on the walls of a
former foundry to the accompaniment of a poignant playlist

One of the most striking elements of the exhibition is the use of
contemporary music. Nina Simone’s Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood powers around
the foundry as visitors view some of the famous works, including The Siesta,
Van Gogh painted while living in an asylum; the words of the song mirror a cry
for understanding in his time of darkness... see visuals:
