So Hon’ble Narendra Modi Ji, either implement what you propagate Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas [Together, for everyone's growth, with everyone's trust] by taking action against the persons who are working against the ethos of the orders and directions issued by the Central Government and directions issued by Hon’ble High Court  - or gather all the left-out Kashmiri Pandits / Kashmiri Hindus at one place in Kashmir Valley and test firing power of newly purchased Rafale Aircrafts on us and free us from the miserable life which we are facing due to some persons from the ruling party cadres and morally corrupt bureaucracy

Second phase of KPSS Fast-unto-Death completes 120 Hours since 22.11.2020 but UT Administration is in catnap and the apathy of the Non-Migrant Kashmiri Pandits / Kashmiri Hindus living in Kashmir Valley is that they have become non-entity for the ruling party who used to praise our sacrifices in political rallies to grab the position in the power corridors. Now, the same lot is taking revenge from us for staying back in Kashmir Valley and treating us with indifference and have turned blind and deaf towards our miseries which are deliberately induced to destroy our existence in Kashmir Valley.

It is irony that all the directions and recommendations issued from higher authorities, Central Government and Hon’ble High Court are put in dust bin and the nodal agencies are acting autocratically refusing to give us what is meant for us and are misusing their chair’s to harass us which is causing mental depression and other allied issues within the Community who stayed back in Kashmir Valley.

Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi Ji has been leading our country since 2014 and since then people who follow him in this part of the world are crushing us using all sorts of tactics and are damaging our existence in Kashmir Valley. It is a known phrase for all that “Modi hai to mumkin hai” [It is possible, if Modi is there].

So Hon’ble Narendra Modi Ji, either implement what you propagate “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas” [Together, for everyone's growth, with everyone's trust] by taking action against the persons who are working against the ethos of the orders and directions issued by the Central Government and directions issued by Hon’ble High Court or gather all the left out Kashmiri Pandits / Kashmiri Hindus at one place in Kashmir Valley and test firing power of newly purchased Rafale Aircrafts on us and free us from the miserable life which we are facing due to some persons from the ruling party cadres and morally corrupt bureaucracy as KPSS feel cheated and back stabbed by the Administration of UT for not adhering to their own promises and commitments that were expressively and verbally conveyed to us during the First phase of Fast-Unto-Death Pledge.

On 30th September, 2020, KPSS called off Fast-Unto-Death Pledge when Worthy Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar Shri. Shahid Iqbal Chowdhary, IAS on behalf of Administration assured in writing that the Charter of Demands will be discussed in a logical way and all the directions of the Hon’ble High Court read with Parliamentary Standing Committees recommendations and directions issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Union of India will be implemented on the ground zero to mitigate the long pending issues of the Non-Migrant Kashmiri Pandits / Kashmiri Hindus living in Kashmir Valley.

Though worthy Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar tried his best to arrange and organize meetings but the authorities behaved autocratic way and used all the bureaucratic stunts and excuses to avoid the meetings which could have resulted in logical solutions to the issues which need to be resolved as per the directions and recommendations issued from time to time in favour of Non-Migrant miniscule religious minority of Kashmir Valley.

Though ruling party workers are presently trying to woo people to vote for them in District Development Council Elections but the nationalist who always stood for the integrity of Country are denied survival despite directions and recommendations from the higher authorities forcing KPSS President Shri. Sanjay K. Tickoo and Youth Activists Shri. Sandeep Koul and Shri. Bhupender Singh Jamwal to go for the second phase of Fast-Unto-Death pledge.

 Charter of Demands:

 1. Extension of PM’s Job Package and apportionment of 500 posts / one job per family (preferably) criteria for 808 Non-Migrant Kashmiri Pandit / Kashmiri Hindu Families. DMRR&R deliberately delayed the process by more than four years as such give one time age relaxation to all the over-age candidates’ w.e.f. 31.05.2016 (date of the judgment passed by Hon’ble High Court in OWP 1986/2013 titled Kashmiri Pandit Sangarash Samiti and others vs. Union of India and others)

 2. Providing of Accommodation to all deserving Non-Migrant families under PM’s Relief and Rehabilitation Package

3. Extension / providing of necessary financial assistance to the 808 Non-Migrant Kashmiri Pandit / Kashmiri Hindu families living in Kashmir Valley

4. Extension of benefits of Migrant Welfare Fund to the Non-Migrant Kashmiri Pandits – Kashmiri Hindus living in Kashmir Valley.

5. Constitution of Nodal Agency between UT Government including Relief Department headed by Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir with one member from KPSS Core Committee.

6.  Protection, Preservation and Restoration of Temples and other religious institutions belonging to the religious minority in Kashmir Valley.

NB:  An interesting obituary to a great intellectual. My knowledge of the situation is limited, but as regards this article,  I'm uncomfortable with the argument that there should be no objection to the participation  of communal parties  in a democratic alliance. My views on this are conditioned by the history of religion-based mobilisations in India, where the communist movement has from time to time allied with communal groups of all colours, with disastrous consequences. Some material on this theme may be read here .  Nor can I agree that Islamists, Hindutva groups or Khalistanis etc. can be described as 'religious parties'.
