AAP calls Hooda property broker, says Ambanis rule the country // Kejriwal in Rohtak storms Hooda’s citadel
Rohtak: Aam Aadmi Party launched its Lok Sabha election
campaign in Haryana on Sunday where it tore into Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh
Hooda and accused him of being involved in corrupt land deals with Reliance. Addressing a rally in Rohtak, which is the home turf of
Hooda, Kejriwal called him a property broker. "Hooda is not the CM but a
property dealer," he said. Kejriwal, who had earlier taken up issues of land
acquisition and Congress President Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law Robert Vadra's
dealings in the state, accused Hooda of giving out land at cheaper rates to
Reliance. "Hooda has given 8000 acres of land to Reliance for just a few
lakhs," he alleged. Recalling that he is yet to receive a reply from BJP's PM
nominee Narendra Modi on gas price hike, Kejriwal attacked BJP of being hands
in glove with the Ambani brothers.

If the number of people attending today's Aam Aadmi Party rally is an indicator, Congress should be worried. The huge turnout indicates that the party has now spread its wings beyond the political scene in Delhi and will likely play Congress spoiler in both the upcoming Lok Sabha election, as well as the Haryana assembly elections, due in the month of October. The AAP rally in Rohtak on Sunday was a direct challenge to the dynasty of the Hoodas in Haryana... AAP leaders who spoke at the rally today kept attacking the Congress and BJP on various counts. While the BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi was targeted for his alleged relationship with business empires like Reliance or the Adanis, the Congress party was attacked on the issue of corruption.

Kejriwal accuses section of media of bias
Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal today lashed out at a section of the media, accusing it of being biased under the influence big industrialists with vested interests and said that it will have to be "set right". Addressing his first rally after he resigned as Delhi Chief Minister on February 14 over Jan Lokpal bill issue, he also alleged that an industrialist was attempting to control some newspapers and TV channels. He claimed that a section of media has been told to cover Narendra Modi and Rahul Gandhi and "defame" him.
Accusing the media of "denigrating" him by saying that he resigned as he could not govern, Kejriwal said he had stepped down as he did not want to compromise on principles after Congress and BJP prevented the introduction of Jan Lokpal Bill in the Delhi Assembly. "Certain newspapers and TV channels are saying that I quit because I wanted to run away from governance. I willing to give my life but I will not compromise on principles. I have showed that I have no love for the chair," he said. Kejriwal claimed that an editor-in-chief of a TV channel had met him yesterday and told him that he had resigned from his job as he was allegedly under pressure to only show Modi and Rahul, which went against his conscience.
He said a lot of hue and cry was made when he was alloted a three-bedroom flat in Delhi, "but media people do not dare to ask Modi and Rahul" about the money spent their rallies. He asked the AAP workers and common people to call up newspaper offices and offices of the TV channels if they felt that there was a hidden agenda behind a particular news item. "We will also have to set right the media," he said. The AAP leader also debunked opinion polls and surveys conducted before the polls, saying these had given his party 2-3 seats in Delhi assembly polls, but the party ended up getting 28 assembly seats. "Money changes hands behind such surveys," he alleged.
